Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Porto
Meet the group, settle in, and gather for a welcome dinner beside the Douro River.
Day 2: North to Vigo by Coach
Cross from Portugal into Galicia and begin the journey in the coastal city of Vigo.
Day 3: Vigo to Redondela
Walk 22 km through eucalyptus forest, coastal viewpoints, vineyards, and Galician villages.
Day 4: Redondela to Pontevedra
Walk 22 km past old chapels and farmland into Pontevedra's preserved medieval center.
Day 5: Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis
The longest stage covers 29 km through forests, vineyards, and stone hamlets to the town's natural hot springs.
Day 6: Caldas de Reis to Padrón
Walk 19 km to the town where tradition says the boat carrying Saint James arrived from the Holy Land.
Day 7: Padrón to Milladoiro
Walk 19 km toward Santiago and catch the first distant view of the Cathedral spires.
Day 8: The Final Walk to Santiago
Enter Santiago de Compostela and finish in the Plaza del Obradoiro before the Cathedral.
Day 9: Back to Porto
Travel back to Porto, reflect on the journey, and share a farewell dinner on the waterfront.
Day 10: Fly Home
Depart from Porto and carry the prayer, friendships, and lessons of the Camino home.
